Burlington Island Paddle (before clean up) - BYO SUP/kayak (no rentals avail)

Burlington Island is in the middle of the Delaware River between Bristol PA and Burlington NJ
It's a pretty interesting place and one that I've started to explore more

RAIN OR SHINE!
not for beginner paddleboarders, strong currents/wind possible

The plan:
meet at the Burlington NJ boat ramp at 9:45am, get kayaks/SUPs ready
(there are no rentals available)
Paddling by 10:30 - if you are late, you'll have to catch up
We'll paddle for about an hour - first up river past the island then back down towards the boat launch staying on the Jersey side to avoid the main channel currents, this should be an easy paddle
Physical address is 499 East Pearl St, Burlington NJ

We will meet the organizers of the clean up, Spearhead Project Earth, at the boat launch around 11:30 - if you want to volunteer to help clean up the island, RSVP here: https://www.meetup.com/its-better-outdoors/events/306521377/

Make sure to bring (paddling):
water
sunscreen
snacks, beverages

What to bring for the clean up:
long sleeves, long pants
sturdy boots (I don't recommend sneakers or other low top footwear)
make sure to plan to put these securely on your paddleboard or kayak

low tide is 8:25am, high tide is 2:06pm, low tide later is 8:35pm
the tide will be a little low when we get started but will only go up from there and low level will not be a concern while we're there

No guests allowed, all attendees must be IBO members
