Sunset & Moonlight hike - red lights ok - about 6.5 miles

Details
We're going to hike the Wissahickon meadows at Sunset and then moonlight
6.5 miles over rocks, branches, roots, and creeks
It's not a full moon, but this particular path shouldn't be too bad in terms of obstacles although red lights are ok if needed
and the almost-full moon should provide enough light to see by since it rises at 2:30pm and will be up in the sky when we start to hike
this is a later-then-usual night hike which means the sunset doesn't set until 8:25 so the plan is:
meet at Bells Mill East Parking lot by 7:30
hiking by 7:45 (with or without you)
we should see the sunset in the Andorra Meadow and then have full dark with the moon in the sky for the Houston Meadow
I anticipate this to be done maybe 10ish, but depends on how fast we move
You can bring a light with you for those moments of "just in case" but a red light is preferred if possible
WILL CANCEL FOR RAIN or drizzle
My 3 rules for night hikes are:
1. Don't point your light in someones eyes
2. Always make sure you can see the person in front of you, if they are so far ahead that you cannot see them, walk faster! (seriously)
3. It's not rude to pass someone who is not keeping up, it's rude of them to not be keeping up
NO +1's...everyone must be a member to join us, just have your friends join the group (it's free) and RSVP to the event
