Friday Afternoon tubing the Delaware (BYO tube)

Details
We are going to take Friday afternoon off and tube down the Delaware!
Will cancel for rain, but still go if it's cloudy
I'm doing this on a Friday (not will not be doing it on a weekend) because parking is such a disaster on the weekends
PLEASE TRY TO CARPOOL - parking is always such an issue even on a Friday, if we could at least get 2 people to a car instead of everyone doing their own car, that would help a lot
Meet at the RIverview Parking lot (3037 Daniel Bray Hwy [Rt 29], Frenchtown NJ) at 1:30pm
We'll shuttle cars to the take out at Byram Boat Launch - 7 miles down river
(take as many cars to Byram as we can, then bring the drivers back up to the start)
When everyone is ready, we'll get in the water and start to float - realistically, we won't start floating until 2:15, as the shuttle process is a long one, so please have patience, and sunscreen, and drinks
We'll float the 7 miles down river with drinks, water, toys (like footballs and frisbees) then take out at Byram, and take those with cars at the start back to their cars (this will take approximately 4 hours, but that can vary on river speed)
staying together: best to bring a small, short rope with a carabiner to clip and attach to each other. Don't tie to each other because sometimes we need to split up quickly if rocks or other obstacles show up
For those that want food/drinks afterwards, we'll meet at Dilly's (on the PA side of the river just over the Stockton Bridge (keep in mind that this place can get busy and the parking lot is small so parking/seats may be limited - we'll do what we can)
What you NEED to bring:
your own tube (no rentals available)
sunscreen
water (this is very important)
tasty beverages
footwear - you want something that will stay on your feet - flip flops are not a good idea
carabiners to clip your drinks, etc to your tube and to clip onto the group rope
waterproof case for you phone, that can clip onto something
Other suggestions:
water guns
football, other kind of ball, that's good in water
small, softside cooler that can get wet and can clip on to your tube
waterproof bluetooth speaker (not everyone needs this, but a couple might be good)
dry bag - to keep keys/other stuff dry
Please be responsible with your river drinks, especially if you are driving afterwards (carpooling is encouraged, for many reasons)
