Italy has been on my short list for a while. So, this solo-traveler friendly trip is right up my alley. I have secured our own tour with Oversees Adventure Travel. It will be just us on the trip. Pricing (all prices are per person based on double occupancy)
- Base Tour Cost: $4845 per person including airfare
- Traveler Insurance highly recommended. I have an annual plan which is awesome! $499 for the year which is far cheaper than the insurance they offer.
- We are flying out a couple of days early to avoid jet lag. Our room was just $221 per person for two additional nights.

- 11 nights' accommodation
- International airfare, airport transfers, government taxes, fees, and airline fuel surcharges unless you choose to make your own air arrangements

Car Camping at Ojo Caliente Resort and Spa! 3 spots left!

We are going to New Mexico for 3 nights at Ojo Caliente Hot Springs Resort. Guess what? They have a campground on property! Instead of paying hundreds of dollars a night to sleep in a lodge or cabin you can sleep in your car and get access to the exact same spa, restaurant, and property. See why I love car camping? We will sleep like a baby in our car, soak in the hot springs and join in the fun.
I will even help you get set up and guide you when you have your first experience.
The fee for the campground and spa is $160 for the 3 nights. You gotta love car camping!
Here is my Amazon list of my must-have's. You may or may not need these when you start off:
- a comfortable sleeping set up. I have Luno and love it.
- A heat source as it will get cold.
- A power source. I like Jackery. I have the 500 which is great for me. You can get a spot with electricity if you want to make it super easy. In that case get a really long power cord and an electric blanket.
- A light source. I have a few options but like these.
- A USB fan.
- Car window screens like these
