Indicative itinerary :

Friday, 3rd April : Meet-up with all participants and let's get lost in the vibrant Grand Bazaar and the fragrant Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar) How about some Turkish delight and coffee in between? Walk across the Galata Bridge, wander around the Galata Tower for photogenic views, exploring the trendy boutiques, cafes and restaurants in Karakoy.

Saturday, 4th April : Visiting the world heritage site of Hagia Sophia, the eternal landmark of Istanbul or Constantinople as the capital of the Byzantine empire, the impressive Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque) and the Basilica Cistern. Indulge in authentic kebabs and meze at a local spot. Optionally you may choose to explore the opulent Topkapi and be transported to the Ottoman Empire!

Sunday, 5th April : Take a ferry to the Asian Side (Kadıköy) to experience a more local vibe, visit the produce market, and enjoy a different side of Istanbul. Back in time for a Bosporus dinner cruise with live shows of belly dance authentic Whirling Dervishes.

Monday, 6th April : Optional visit to Dolmabahce Palace and / or enjoy the hustle and bustle of the old town, historical centre as much time may allow before departure...

Kindly allow some flexibility at the order of the aforementioned places we visit, for an optimal experience once there.

Choose to stay for one more day if you can and discover the hidden gem area of Fener and the Byzantine churches, cobbled stoned streets and vibrant, atmospheric cafes like a trip back in time!
