Saturday, 29th August: Meeting-up and ready to see Sofia! Stroll around Vitosha Boulevard right in the city centre with the lively open air bars and restaurants. Enjoy a delicious dinner with a local flare! Walk through the uncovered remnants of a 2,000-year-old Roman city, located right inside and around the Serdica complex metro station.

Sunday, 30th August : Optional day trip to Rila Monastery and Boyana church, UNESCO Heritage sites, ones of the most important landmarks of the country, in the most amazing mountainous landscape, Recharge at the mineral Thermae open air spa pools, be surrounded by stunning views of the Rila mountain trees.

Monday, 31st August : Starting with a guided walking tour to find out about the beauty and hidden gems of Sofia, with a local guide. Amongst them one of the most imposing and largest Orthodox churches in the world, St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, St Sofia church, from which the city was named after.
Stay longer and have fun discovering the bohemian cafes, bars and restaurants in Kvartal Art district, the old Jewish quarter of Sofia, the Museum of Socialist Art,

It you can have an extra day, an optional day trip to the beautiful and historical town of Plovdiv with its ancient theatre and the authentic traditional Bulgarian photogenic old town is highly recommended.
