Petting Farm Animals and Sipping Wine at Sunset at Calvary Farms - BYOB!

Details
Being a farm girl at heart and lover of farm animals, I wanted our group to experience one of my favorite farms run my an awesome family just outside the SA city limits. Calvary Farms is a family-owned working farm a short drive outside San Antonio off Loop 1604 that allows visitors to come in and pet their extremely friendly goats, cows, alpacas, donkeys, miniature cows and horses, Tom turkey, pigs, etc and learn more about their working farm where they often rescue and rehabilitate animals.
Molly Calvary (pictured above with the cow) and husband love hosting wine events at sunset at the farm so they asked me if I wanted to combine petting the animals with a wine at sunset BYOB at their farm so I thought I would do an event over Memorial weekend before it gets too hot out.
Molly has graciously offered to give our group a discounted rate of $10 (pay at event) and promises to join us in some wine tasting after we are done petting her menagerie of 98 animals at the farm. Live music from 6 pm to 8 pm and a bbq food truck, The address is 4231 Stuart Road, Adkins, TX 78101 - about a 30 minute drive.
Bring your favorite bottle of wine and snacks like cheese, fruit, summer sausage, charcuterie fixins, a plastic wine glass (can't drink straight from the bottle lol) and a blanket. We will sit down and enjoy each other's company, share wine and snacks and take in the sunset after we love on some farm animals. We will exit the farm right before it gets too dark to safely get back home. You can bring a child also to this event, it is very kid-friendly!
