Wonder World Cave and Adventure Park followed by Patio Dolcetto

Let's have an adventure at Wonder World followed by wine at Patio Dolcetto in San Marcos. I am a huge kid at heart and an amateur speelunker who is fascinated by caves. (Not to mention it is cool down there in the summertime). So I thought why not investigate one nearby I have driven by a million times and never gone to - Wonder World! Wonder World is the nation’s only true example of an EARTHQUAKE-FORMED CAVE and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. The cave offers a glimpse into the past geological eras of the Earth’s history. It houses fossilized prehistoric life encased in various strata formations and huge boulders suspended in mid-air.

Let's purchase tickets for the 2:00 PM All in One Tour which includes all three attractions - the Cave Tour (about a mile walk), followed by the tour of the Anti-Gravity House and Wildlife Park. Sound fun? I thought so. Arrive by 1:45 PM at Wonder World or risk missing your scheduled tour! Adult tickets are $35.00 plus tax online, Total = $39.03. You must tell me you have purchased your ticket to move forward on my guest list. (FYI: There are only 25 tickets open for each time slot online so purchase early before the time slot sells out).

After our cave adventure, let's head over to Patio Dolcetto at 322 Cheatham Street which is only 1.7 miles from Wonder World heading towards IH 35. They have lots of wine, wine flights, craft ciders and beer, cocktails, and great food to choose from. We will find a nice spot on the patio.
