40th Annual Gruene Music and Wine Fest - Tastings and Tunes

I have been going to Tastings and Tunes for over 25 years now (my cabinet full of commemorative glasses demonstrates that). It has changed alot - no giant tent anymore behind the Grapevine - but is still a great time cuz it is Gruene and involves wine and music.

You can sample more than 30 Texas wines and brews while enjoying live music throughout the afternoon. Tickets are available online for $47.10 total. Your tasting ticket package includes one commemorative wine glass and 10 tasting tickets. Tickets are good for one beer or wine sample. You can buy tickets at the event if you don't want to prepay or if seems a bit expensive for you, you could just buy a glass of wine (or bottle) from the Grapevine, and forego tasting tickets. There will be live music outside on the stage. It is always a blast!

The event starts at noon at the Grapevine in Gruene! Lots of parking in lot but the early bird gets the spot. Don't be late. Seats outside by the band will fill fast so we want to try and grab some.

It’s the premier wine tasting event of the year! Enjoy tastings from some of Texas’ best wineries and breweries while listening to live music in the relaxing atmosphere of The Grapevine Garden. Proceeds from tasting tickets benefit the United Way of Comal County.

We may venture over to Winery on the Gruene after a few hours across the street. It is always an affordable favorite of our group. The 3 PM end time is not set in stone. We may linger longer if the fun and wine beckons.
