Brew & View: Hike the Terwillegar Trails - Intermediate level 9KM. Free
Details
THIS EVENT OPENS for RSVP OCT 26 @ 8am.
This hike has been curated by Dr. Dave and hosted by Melissa.
For those that are interested we are going to Freson Bros for coffee and/or lunch after the hike. 5139 Mullen Rd NW.
Overview: This is an intermediate level hike, we will be moving at a faster pace than a beginner hike. The hike is approx. 9 km in length and will take approx. 2.25 hrs to complete. This hike offers some of the most interesting and diverse single track trails, elevation changes, awesome and perhaps unexpected views. The hike is approx. 80% single tracks and 20% wider gravel paths. The middle 65% of the hike is significantly different, more challenging, great workout but definitely super enjoyable. This is one of my favorite hikes.
Location: Terwillegar Dog Park. Best to click on address or map pin within this invite to get directions to the hike location. We'll meet on the left hand side of the parking lot as you are entering. Just look for my White Toyota Highlander, I'm usually close by.
What to bring: Bottle of water, Gatorade (we will take water breaks), any kind of energy bar etc. that could give you a little boost.
Reservations: If you are unable to make the hike, please ensure that you update your RSVP's as soon as possible. Late cancellations do not give enough notice for those on the waitlist to join.
