Volunteer to help create a meadow

Help plant 1000 plugs of grasses and wildflowers as we expand the old field Piedmont Meadow at Ivy Creek Natural Area and Historic River View Farm. Come any time between 9:30 and 3:00. Meet us on the far side of the white farmhouse away from the main parking lot. Wear closed toed shoes, long pants. Bring water, snacks, garden gloves, a trowel or digging tool (such as a Hori hori knife), and knee pads if you want them. Address is 1780 Earlysville Road, Charlottesville.
