Ivy Creek Natural Area Volunteer Group

Have you been looking for a way to give back to your community? Do you love Ivy Creek Natural Area and Historic River View Farm? Do you love being outside and making a difference? Then join us for our monthly public work day! We will be working on removing invasive plants, trail maintenance, and landscape restoration from 9 AM - 12 PM. Wear outdoor work clothes and close-toed shoes/boots.

Help plant 1000 perennial grass and wildflower plugs to help restore the native Piedmont Virginia meadow at Ivy Creek Natural Area / Historic River View Farm. We'll also do a little weeding. Come for as long as your schedule permits, but please communicate with the leader (Diana Foster, dfoster@newventure.com) your preferred time.
