Monthly Volunteering at the Hope House

I had a lot of people volunteer to help at the Hope House on Thanksgiving but we need help there all the time. I need someone that will take over and organize this.

If you would like to volunteer they have asked us to provide a meal on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.

Here are the details

• only 25-40 shelter guests for the monthly meals, we will be notified the week before of the head count
• 4-6 volunteers needed, kitchen manager will be present
• you can cook something on site or prepare it and bring it with you
• in the past we would buy lasagnas and things like that from Costco, show up and cook them there
• The shelter asks that after everyone is served the volunteers prepare their own trays and sit with the guests to eat dinner with them
• kitchen helpers will clean up so you just provide serve and go
