Art After Dark - Drag Show Edition

Details
I get to many alerts from MeetUp so I have turned them off.
That means I will not see comments or questions here.
The ONLY way to reach me is to call/text the DudeistJon Help Line at 513-99-HAPPY
Years ago, a gay friend tried talking me into going out in drag. I am straight but not narrow and all about a good costume so I was up for it.
He even had the whole look planned out. Wig. Lashes. Dress. Stage name. (Tallulah Highlife, in case you’re wondering.) Then we hit the tragic wall of economics. Turns out heels in a men’s size 15 are not just rare, they are a financial commitment. Like second-mortgage level.
He wasn't willing to invest that much in seeing me in drag so the plan fell apart. I would still consider it if someone bought my shoes. And they better be nice. It would be a one-time thing and I want to be FABULOUS!!”
Still waiting, y’all.
But until then, I’ll be rocking my regular men's footwear at Art After Dark: Pride Edition.
This month they are serving up art, identity, and pride. Celebrate Farm to Table: Food and Identity in the Age of Impressionism with:
- DJ Castle spinning live
- Drag performers leading gallery tours
- Live painting by CS Art
- Food from Terrace Café and Seasoned Dish
- Local goods from Roebling Books
- Cash bars for your sipping pleasure
- Free admission to special exhibits
Drag tours are free but you’ll need to register. That opens soon, so stalk their socials or refresh their website like it’s your ex’s profile.
Whether you come in drag, denim, or Dollar Tree couture, come out and celebrate Pride with the kind of style that would make Monet say, “Yaaas.”

Note: I take attendance at all my events so make sure you find me or you will be marked as a no show.
Note #2: The parking lot is typically full by 6 so plan to park down in Eden park and walk or show up early.
