This Sunday at 5pm I am going to watch The Princess Bride at the Mariemont Theatre. It is the greatest love story ever told. Most people will tell you it is about Wesley and Buttercup. They are adorable and all but the they are wrong.
The true heart of this epic is Fezzik. His love wasn't what he wanted for himself. Fezzik's love was what he could give. What he could do for the friends he loved. And sharing his rhymes with them.
I will laugh at Fezzik's gentle giant lines. I will cheer when Inigo gets to finally deliver his big line for real. I will quote every impossible thing. If you know the movie you know the jokes. If you don’t know it yet you are in for a treat.
