Let's Rock at Arena

Arena is a spacious bar attached to the Grand Vista Hotel just off the 118 freeway in Simi Valley. Its most salient feature is a large elevated stage for rock bands to play. (The night I scouted this venue, the featured band was playing Pearl Jam covers. Nice!) While the area below the stage has a few tables sparsely spread out for sitting and drinking (or eating), it's used mostly as a pit for the audience to watch the bands and also as a dance floor on the nights when they have DJs. There's also TVs at the bar for sports fans like myself, an outdoor patio for smokers, and at least four pool tables. So let's get the band together and jam to some live music on Saturday, August 9 at the Arena in Simi Valley.
