Free Visit to Pasadena Museum of History: Preview Two Exciting New Exhibitions

Join me for a free preview of two exciting new exhibits at the Pasadena Museum of History this Thursday, October 2nd, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM!

We'll be meeting as a group at 5:15 PM—but don’t worry if you arrive a bit later, there’s plenty to explore.

We’ll kick off our evening with a tour around the beautiful gardens and the exterior of the historic Fenyes Mansion, a stunning Beaux-Arts estate built in 1906.

The mansion, once home to art patron Eva Scott Fenyes and her husband Dr. Adalbert Fenyes, offers a glimpse into Pasadena’s rich history and early 20th-century architecture.

Inside the museum, we’ll get a first look at two brand-new exhibits:

1. CHA-RIE TANG: 48 Years of Artistic Innovation in Pasadena – Celebrate the career and creative impact of Pasadena-based artist Cha-rie Tang, whose innovative works have influenced generations of local and regional art.

2. STORIES, TRADITIONS & DESIGNS:

Spotlighting the African American Quilters of Los Angeles – Explore the vibrant heritage and artistry of African American quilters, showcasing traditions, stories, and stunning textile designs from the Los Angeles community.

Whether you’re a history buff, art lover, or just looking for a fun evening outing, this meetup is a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, enjoy the scenic gardens, and experience Pasadena’s rich cultural legacy.
