The program opens with Ernest Bloch’s dramatic Schelomo, featuring cellist Sieun Park as a modern-day King Solomon navigating a rich tapestry of sound. After a brief intermission, experience Bedřich Smetana’s beloved Má vlast (“My Country”), a vivid set of symphonic poems celebrating the Romantic spirit of the Czech homeland, including the iconic melody “The Moldau.”
