Lake Casitas Camping Getaway – 3 Days, 2 Nights near Ojai, CA (Ventura County)

Hi Everyone,

I'm excited to lead a small group of up to 10-15 people on a camping trip to the beautiful Lake Casitas, located about 1.5–2.5 hours north of the Greater LA area in Ventura County and near Ojai, CA.

This event will be limited to a small group to create a more intimate, relaxed, and social camping experience.

What to Expect:

• A fun and laid-back weekend surrounded by nature, with great company and gorgeous views.
• Warm, comfortable weather—early May is the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors before the summer heat rolls in (we will avoid the craziness of the major holidays)
• Campfire chats, shared meals, and plenty of time to unwind or explore.

What to Bring:

• Your own camping gear, cookware, and meals.

While some extra food and drinks will be provided, everyone is encouraged to bring meals that suit your diet and preferences.
Having your own cookware will also allow you to prepare food as you like it.

Group Contribution & Cost:

Non-refundable $50 per person helps cover campsite fees and shared essentials.
Since we are very close to the camping date and reservation plus other cost has already been incurred, there are no cancellations or refunds after submitting payment.

Only RSVP and pay if you are 100% sure you will attend.

Everyone is responsible for their own transportation and the $24/night parking fee per vehicle (unless carpooling; you will need to split costs).

Parking is limited at each campsite, so please let me know in advance if you plan to pay for your own parking and park at or near the campsite—prior approval is required.

Otherwise, please arrange to carpool or DM me directly.

Important Notes:

This trip is designed to be a collaborative group experience, so we ask everyone to help out—whether it's cooking, cleaning, or simply being self-sufficient.

The goal is to enjoy a fun, friendly, and respectful camping vibe where everyone contributes and connects.

P.S. By the way, there are restrooms and hot showers at this campsite. Also, a small general store in case anything is needed and a very nice vineyard nearby that we can visit before heading back. It is only a few miles away from the town of Ojai, CA.
