Did you know we almost had a nuclear reactor meltdown not 30 miles from downtown L.A.? This was at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory, which is now a Superfund site owned by Boeing.

On May 9 they're conducting a nature tour. It's not much of a hike but it might be of interest. I already did it and I can probably skip a repeat, but you might be interested.
