West Town Social Club has a fun Friday night in the park planned for you!
Come join us for a fun session of glow-in-the dark capture the flag at the Wicker Park softball field as the sun goes down and nighttime begins. Glow wristbands and flags take this field day classic and turn it into a thrilling dusk experience!
Players will be divided into 3 teams (teams will be assigned in advance), with each team getting up to 50 total minutes of play (25 minutes vs each team). Sign up by yourself or with friends--teams are put together by the organizer so that you don't have to! This also gives you the chance to meet and connect with fun new people :)
After games end, we'll have a post-game social at Standard Bar & Grill which all players are encouraged to attend. While not required, this social is your chance to share drinks, food, conversation and laughter with your teammates and opponents alike! Drink specials included.
Please note the following:
AGE REQUIREMENT: All participants must be at least 21 years old to participate. Proof of age may be requested by the organizer on the day of the event; please bring identification in case. Those who register and cannot show proof of age will be denied participation in the tournament and will NOT be refunded.
ALCOHOL: The Chicago Park District strictly prohibits ANY alcohol consumption in city parks. If you are caught consuming alcohol during participation during this event, you will be asked to properly dispose of your beverage. Any further alcohol consumption witnessed during the event will result in being asked to leave and could potentially result in being banned from future West Town Social Club events. Save your liver for the post-game social!
REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be issued except in the event of a non-weather related cancellation.
WAIVER: All participants will be asked to sign a digital waiver prior to arrival, agreeing that West Town Social Club will not be held liable for any injuries and/or illness associated with participating in this outing. Failure to sign this waiver will result in participation being denied with no refund being issued.
WEATHER POLICY: We will do our best to play on game day! In the event that inclement weather prevents play on that date, we will have a party and prize raffle at the sponsor bar. If weather prevents play on the scheduled date, a new date will be announced within 7 days. Any decisions regarding game play will be at the sole discretion of the organizer.
