Average Joe Softball was created specifically with individual players in mind--no need to pay for a whole team and beg your hesitant friends to join! All players are registered as individuals. Teams will be assigned the day prior to the event, and each team will play 2 games.

Maximum 36 participants--21 guys + 15 gals
3 teams w/up to 12 participants per team (7 guys + 5 gals)--up to 6 guys on the field at any time
Feel free to request to have up to 2 of your friends on your team. However, since this outing is more about socializing & meeting new people than it is winning/losing, there are no full team signups!

Whether you are a beginner or an expert softballer, this event is all about allowing everyone to play in a non-competitive, fun environment. Why? Because at West Town Social Club, we're all about having a good time! This event will be co-ed, so that everyone has a chance to play.

Most standard recreational softball rules will apply, and the rules will be sent in detail via email prior to the event. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions (ideally, prior to the event).
Format - 16" slow pitch (only gals wear gloves)
Level - Beginner/Recreational

UMPS NEEDED!
West Town Social Club is seeking people who are interested in officiating this outing in exchange for playing either1-2 games for free or credit towards future WTSC events. Umping experience strongly preferred, but not necessarily required. Anyone interested can send a message to **westtownsinglesandsocialsclub@gmail.com**

AFTER PARTY: A fun post-tournament celebration will take place after the games finish for drinks and conversation. The after party is what truly makes this a social outing! Group drink specials TBA
