Interaction 23 Redux

Details

A few weeks following IxDA's Interaction 23 conference in Zurich, a few of us who attended the conference are gathering together to play back highlights, learnings and inspirations in this redux.

This year's themes covered a range of wide-reaching topics such as robot-human interaction, indigenous futures, artificial intelligence, ethics, planet-centered design and post-anthropocene perspectives, in addition to more specific talks relating to designing for memory, synchronicity, play and other modalities.

The redux will be a remote, online event. The URL for the event will be made available on this page to attendees nearer to the event time.

We're charging a refundable £5 for tickets, and will refund anyone who attends the full event. This has helped us reduce the number of no-shows and also make room for more folks who can and want to attend.

We have also been trying to raise some funds to pay for our Meetup.com fees, and appreciate your generosity if you would like to donate the £5 to us — just let us know if you would like to do this.

Huge thanks to our talented redux speakers:

Abid Warsi
Topics: Designing for Interpersonal Synchronization (Michal Rinott), Human-AI Collaboration in the Emergency Room (Pontus Warnestal)

Calliope Georgousi
Topics: Sharing her volunteer experience at IxD23. Also, themes related to (Re)designing interaction design, design decision-making process, environmental impact of technology, establishing design ethics, creating new work experiences, enabling decentralisation for the better.

Giuseppe Burdo
Topics: Healthcare-related talks (e.g. Daniel Burka keynote: Can designers save lives? Not by themselves.).
