#70 IXDA SVG Meetup: Service Design doesn't solve problems... people do

We’re excited to welcome Tash Willcocks to our next IxDA Stavanger meetup!

In this session, Tash will explore how relying on frameworks and templates may make us feel like designers, but true impact comes from understanding ourselves and the bigger context we’re designing within.

Meet Tash:
Tash Willcocks is Head of Learning Design at TPXimpact, strengthening capability in government and healthcare through upskilling and digital leadership. Previously Director of Masters Europe at Hyper Island, she co designed and led the Masters courses across five European cities, working with global organisations including the UN, BBC, NHS, Unilever, and Adidas. Tash began her career shaping creative education at Salford University and has since launched Design Academies at agencies like Snook and TPXimpact. She is an Honorary Fellow of Hyper Island and a regular speaker at events including TEDx, Creative Mornings, and PechaKucha, with interviews featured in The Service Design Show, Financial Times and Creative Review.
