IxDA Louisville is excited to partner with Louisville Metro Government's Office of Performance Improvement & Innovation and the National Digital Inclusion Alliance to reimagine how people get access to low-cost internet. The IxDA is leading research that will culminate in a Design Jam during the mayor’s Give-A-Day week in April of 2019.

We are looking for people from all walks of life to participate. Whether you’re an experienced designer or researcher, interested in building your design skills, or simply passionate about digital inclusion, there’s a place for you in this project.

If you’d really like to dig deep, join the research team. You’ll be working in pairs to interview people who are eligible for low-cost internet, either at community events or in one-on-one sessions in the community. We’ll pair experienced researchers with folks who are new to the process, and we’ll give you tips for how to do great research.

To participate in the research team, you’ll have to attend our Kickoff on February 16th, commit to at least one research activity during February or March, and attend the Research Synthesis Meeting on March 23rd (this event).
