GenUI Challenge: AI designs and you steer
Details
You've heard about generative UI: AI assembling interfaces on the fly. It can feel like design decisions are being made with no one in the room having a voice.
But those decisions haven't gone away. They still play out in real-world interactions between the agent and the user, and someone still sets the rules AI follows.
The challenge: AI does the building; you write the rules and design the outcome, not just the pixels.
You'll leave with:
- A sense of how AI makes design decisions, and where your judgment shapes them
- The three kinds of generative UI (Controlled, Declarative, Open-Ended), and how to choose between them
Who it's for: professionals of all backgrounds, and anyone whose work touches design or is curious about gen uI.
No coding experience needed.
What you'll need
- A laptop (and your charger)
- A free GitHub account to launch your GenUI playground
- A free Google AI Studio account, for your own Gemini key
New to GitHub or Google AI Studio? We'll help you set both up in the room.
FREE. Spots limited. Claim your seat!
