Welcome to Tokyo Startup Pitch Night hosted by Tokyo Startup Engineers. As always, we want to give an opportunity for startups and entrepreneurs to present their daily work and projects in front of an audience with a wide variety of background.

Schedule

• 19:10 Pitches start (5 minutes pitches/demos, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A)

He currently works as a software architect and senior manager for MetLife Insurance, Japan. In his spare time he writes for a variety of websites, including Japan Today and Metropolis Magazine.

Aspired tech entrepreneur whose passion is to connect people and spark meaningful encounters. Previously founded companies in the Midwest and Bay Area, including a Biometrics company, a Blockchain related company, and a social network. Currently working on an AI assisted people discovery and grouping app called Myndly (https://myndly.com/). It utilizes via geolocation, common interests and more to create meaningful relations.

Logistics

Yahoo Japan was generous enough to provide part of their space for this meetup. The Dining area on the same floor will be open until 8pm and available for beverage purchase. Please be respectful of the environment so that we can keep using it for future events.

Who we are

We are a group of Entrepreneurs/Engineers who recently moved back to Tokyo after founding and working for Startups in Silicon Valley and the Midwest (USA). Our goal is to contribute to the movement of making Tokyo the startup hub of Asia by providing an opportunity for Entrepreneurs to showcase their work and ask for help to grow their product.

Our meetup events are held in English as an initiative to be globally understood. We encourage all level of english speakers to attend.

Who you are

We expect a wide range of audience with primary interest in Startups and in Engineering. If you are interested in meeting entrepreneurs, contribute to a startup, or want to listen to pitches made in the English language, come join us!

Venue

Yahoo Japan is providing their space for this event. The cafeteria is open until 8pm and you may buy coffee or tea until then, they don't accept cash so bring your SUICA card or some form of digital purchase method. Please be respectful of the space since we want to keep using it for future events.
