👋 HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON!
London’s biggest film club — built by movie fans, for movie fans. We’re a buzzing community of movie lovers, indie filmmakers, comic geeks, and creators who live and breathe cinema. From cult classics to hidden gems, big-screen blockbusters to indie passion projects — we just love getting lost in movies.
We meet regularly for screenings, grab drinks after, and rave (or rant) together on our Letterboxd Page. You’ll often find us at our BFI Riverfront Socials — always a vibe. We stay on top of film news, and our members help vote on what we watch next via WhatsApp or Telegram (unlocked after your first meetup).
We also aim to make an effort to support independent cinema — from The Film Festival Guild to the Prince Charles Cinema, the BFI, Medicinema, and more. That means we sometimes get special perks, early screenings, and the chance to hit the road for exciting festivals. From film quizzes to chill pub nights, there’s always something going on.
Come hang with a bunch of awesome film fans, and pull up a seat at the Roadhouse — we’d love to have you with us. 🎬

🍄🎬 THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE
Victory House French Bistrot & Wine Bar, 14 Leicester Pl, London WC2H 7BZ, London, GB🎮 Because apparently saving the Mushroom Kingdom wasn’t big enough…
👋 Hello guys! Let’s get ready to jump down the warp pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom — and then blast off into space — as we head out to watch the brand-new Super Mario Bros. sequel together. We’ll meet up, share some laughs, and enjoy the adventure as a group. Feel free to bring along your favourite Mario gear — totally optional, but definitely encouraged for some extra fun.
From what we know, this new sequel is set to take Mario, Luigi, and the gang beyond the Mushroom Kingdom and into outer space. The classic elements, like iconic mushrooms and power-ups — remain, but the adventure expands into different galaxies, adding a grand cosmic scale.
It’s exciting to note that directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who brought their unique humour and style to the original film, are back for this sequel, ensuring that same charm and fun. Let's hope the sequel will build on the original’s charm and take the classic Mario energy to a whole new level
We’ll keep things easygoing with a casual pre-social before the movie, then head into the screening together. Afterward, we’ll wrap things up with a short film review and a chat.
We’ll meet for drinks at Victory House Wine Bar before heading to Vue West End (Leicester Square).
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will be showing on Epic 1 at 5.30pm and I grabbed B22—feel free to join me there, or choose a seat that you like. After the film we reconvene for a Letterboxd review.I hope to see you there!

🌺🎬 ALL YOU NEED IS KILL (ÔRU YÛ NÎDO IZU KIRU)
Prince Charles Cinema, 7 Leicester Place, WC2H 7BY, London, GB🌱 Reliving the same invasion, desperate to find a tomorrow…
👋 Hello guys! It's time to dive into anime, one of my favourite genres! We’re watching All You Need Is Kill, a fresh anime adaptation of the Japanese light novel. While it shares core ideas that inspired Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow, this is its own beast, crafted by the acclaimed Studio 4°C and directed by Ken'ichirô Akimoto and Yukinori Nakamura.
It premiered last year at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and now we’re getting a full-on sci-fi thrill ride. The story follows Rita, a young volunteer trapped in a time loop during a bizarre alien plant invasion. Each time she’s killed by the monstrous creatures, the day resets, forcing her to sharpen her combat skills and search for a way out, alongside another looper, Keiji.
If that’s your vibe, we’ll meet directly at the Prince Charles Cinema Bar at 5:45pm as this one’s got the earlier start! I’ll be in seat D5, but pick your favourite spot. Afterward that, drinks and a Letterboxd review are a must.
Can’t wait to see you guys!
