We rotate partners when exercises allow it, so everyone gets a chance to practice and connect. **About the Teacher Milliardo** Milliardo is a self-taught dancer, teacher, and event creator with 18 years of dance experience. He started his journey as a C-walker before developing his own style through popping, locking, and breakdance. For many years, he trained independently, competed in dance battles, and built his foundation through the street dance scene. After more than a decade in street styles, Milliardo moved into salsa, where he has spent the last 6 years growing as both a dancer and teacher. His background gives his salsa a unique musicality, sharpness, and sense of flow that comes from years of freestyle and battle experience. In Amsterdam, he opened his own dance school, **The Dance Box**, where he taught popping and helped create a space for dancers to learn, train, and connect. He is also the co-creator of **KOB Dance Battles**, a dance battle concept that grew into a recurring event and is still being held today. Now based in Barcelona, Milliardo continues to share his love for dance through classes, events, and community building. ***FAQ*** **I am in the waiting list. Should I still come to the class?** We try to keep the classes as balanced as possible, so if we notice we are getting too many leaders/followers we move people around to waitlist. Sadly not everyone who signed up attends the class, so you can always still show up and see if there is a shortage of leaders/followers. **Want to increase your odds to get a spot for the class?** Then we highly suggest to come with a partner (leader+follower), as we always give them priority. **Why am I in the waiting list I was earlier/first?** There is two reasons, either you have attended the class before or, more likely, you didn't show up to a class you signed up for before. This group inline skating class is designed for beginners and early-level skaters who want to build confidence, improve balance, and master essential skating skills in a fun and supportive environment. Kassy was a professional ice skater with Disney on Ice and has been skating since she was 2 years old. We’ll focus on the fundamentals that make skating feel smooth and controlled, including proper stance, weight distribution, and balance while moving. You’ll learn how to start, glide, turn, and stop safely, along with simple drills to improve coordination and stability on your skates. The class progresses at a comfortable pace, with clear demonstrations and individual feedback to help each participant feel steady and confident. Whether you’re brand new to rollerblading or returning after a break, this session will help you develop strong basics and feel more in control on wheels. Classes are predominantly held in English, though Kassy speaks French and Spanish too. We will meet at Moll de Bosch i Alsina, on the pavement beneath the red bridge (Puente móvil rojo). This class is **free** but donation are appreciated. **19:00 – Salsa II Class** After Salsa I, we start Salsa II This class is for those who have taken a few Salsa classes and are ready for a little bit more advanced moves, this class costs **5 euro** to enter. *** **About the teacher Devon Katrina** I’m a multidisciplinary dancer, singer, and actor, born and raised in Los Angeles. Growing up in a family that loved to travel and explore music, art, and culture from around the world shaped a huge part of who I am today. That passion led me to study World Arts and Cultures at Santa Monica College and UCLA, with a focus on ethnomusicology and global movement traditions. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to dance in films, TV shows, arenas, and music videos for artists such as CNCO, Pee Wee, Jon Z, Eladdio, YBN Nahmir, Happy Singh, and Midnight Sister. I was also featured dancing flamenco in *Little Fockers*, the third film in the *Meet the Parents* series. As a teacher, I’ve taught at studios across Los Angeles, including SoHo Dance and Liz Lira Dance Academy, where I spent seven years teaching under my mentor in Culver City. In 2023, I moved to Barcelona to follow my deep love for Bachata Sensual and continue growing as an artist, performer, and teacher. I’ve taught and performed at the Vancouver Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba Festival, as well as the Los Angeles Hustle Congress, where I taught and performed Latin Burlesque. I also had the unforgettable experience of performing for more than 50,000 people with the band Quitapenas at the Los Angeles Afro Latino Dance Festival in Grand Park, DTLA. In 2021, I created my own heels troupe, **Les Femmes Fatales**, performing my choreography across Los Angeles at venues such as The Granada, The Victorian, Townhouse, The Del Monte Speakeasy, The Warehouse, and more. @devonkatrina ### What to expect You can come alone, many people do, and you’ll always find someone to dance with. Of course, bringing a friend makes it even more fun. The first class is donation based, at the end of the session there will be the option to **donate to the teacher** if you enjoyed the class and would like to support their work.
