Evening Stroll at Lakeline Park
************We meet at 6:30ish and take a pre-walk photo before we start down the path clockwise around the lake at 6:40…feel free to catch up if you’re late! 😁********** It has been proposed that this meetup includes Italian Ice at Jeremiah’s following the walk and I am a-ok with making that a thing as well! No pressure to join us, but it does taste delicious following the walk!**
**Easy Walk • Fresh Air • Connection and Conversation in Cedar Park**
**Looking for a simple way to unwind, get outside, and meet new people in Cedar Park?**
**Join us for a relaxed evening walking meetup at Lakeline Park, one of Cedar Park’s hidden gems featuring scenic trails, open green space, and peaceful water views. Whether you’re new to the area or just looking to connect with others, this is an easy, welcoming way to get out of the house and into good company.**
**This isn’t a power walk or a fitness challenge, it’s about movement, conversation, and connection. We’ll keep a relaxed, easy pace that works for all fitness levels, with plenty of space for casual conversations along the trail. The vibe is low-pressure and social, making it easy to meet new people whether you come solo or with a friend.**
**Park in the lot nearest the Kayak rental and we will meet at the launch to start the 2.5 mile loop.**
**RSVP Reminder: If you RSVP, please do your best to attend or update your RSVP. Smaller events like this work best when everyone who signs up shows up.**
**….. ……. ….. ……**
**Hi I’m Heather, your friendly neighborhood walking organizer person thingie. I’m newish to Texas and enjoying everything this area has to offer, especially the interesting people! I’m easily distracted by beautiful and interesting things and people so I will stop and take photos along the way. I often forget what I’m saying mid conversation. Think absent-minded professor but shorter and with longer hair. But I am determined/stubborn and will walk if I am at all capable of doing so because I know how quickly that privilege can change! Please come move with me and enjoy the benefits of living in such a beautiful place!**
*********************please remind me to take a group photo before we begin walking and always feel free to join up after the walk. I can’t always join, but don’t let me stop the conversations!*********************

An Economic History of India: Growth, Income and Inequalities
Join us over drinks and food to discuss the book, “An Economic History of India: Growth, Income and Inequalities from the Mughals to the 21st Century.”
Description of the book:
This book offers a major new economic history of India from the reign of Akbar in the sixteenth century to India's post-independence integration into the global economy. Using concepts and theories from economics and economic history alongside extensive new data, Bishnupriya Gupta builds a new framework for understanding the economic impacts and legacies of British rule. She charts India's transition from precolonial economy to colonial rule and evaluates its economic performance from a comparative perspective, particularly in the context of the Great Divergence between Europe and Asia. Finally, she examines India's post-independence economy and the evolution of social and economic inequality through to the turn of the twenty-first century. By taking a long view, the book sheds new light on the persistent effects of historical institutions as well as the impacts of policy-driven changes. It will be essential reading for anyone seeking to understand the long-run evolution of the Indian economy.

The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014.
Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. Marketing Monday Networking
Monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners. One specific topic, one to three actions you can run this week.
You can be the best at what you do and still be invisible. If local buyers cannot find you, the phone does not ring.
Marketing Monday Lunch + Learn is a monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners focused on building relationships, local networking, and local marketing. Every kind of local business welcome. No pitch round, no pressure, no upsell.
**This month**
Most local businesses pick one or two places to be visible and call it good. The result is inconsistent calls and a feeling that marketing is not working. We will walk through the three places every local business needs to show up, plus the fourth place most owners ignore that quietly produces the warmest leads.
**What to expect**
Doors open at noon. Order lunch and drinks at the cafe counter or bring your own. You get real conversation with other local owners and a focused marketing lesson. You leave knowing people and with one to three actions to run that week. The room is reserved through 1:30 PM.
**Who this is for**
Any local business owner who wants clearer marketing direction and real local relationships. Service businesses, retail, home services, professional services, online owners building local presence, anyone serious about being part of the Columbus business community.
**Not the right fit if**
You are here to pitch the room or recruit for an MLM.
**Details**
* Second Monday of every month
* 12:00 to 1:30 PM
* Good Cafe Easton, 4400 Easton Commons, Ste 150, Columbus, OH 43219
* Order lunch and drinks at the counter when you arrive
* Free to attend, RSVP required, space is limited

Christ The Healer, Columbus, Ohio
From the moment sin entered the world, death began. Adam and Eve were not stricken dead immediately, but the process by which none of us lives forever in health and wholeness in these earthly bodies started its inexorable march to the inevitable end—death. The Bible makes it clear that by one man’s sin, death came to all mankind, but that by the obedience of One Perfect Man, Jesus, many are made righteous (Romans 5:19).
F.F. Bosworth recognized this truth; he also would have people consider that the God Who provided for our greatest need—salvation from eternal death—would also provide healing for the lesser, but still great needs, of health and healing from sickness, disease, and the consequences of sin that we encounter before we die.
Join us as we examine the case for biblical healing in the book first published in 1924, ***Christ The Healer*. We meet at True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 6:30 pm.**

IxDA Chat n Pancakes
You can sleep in on the Sesquicentennial (observed), we’re shifting to the following Friday.
But join the local UX community for a chat and some biscuits to catch up. If you were in CA for Figma Config, tell us all the lines and you can tell me how I can animate an SVG without coding it by hand, and why I’d even want to.
Thanks to the team at Nationwide of supporting the group.
