**Come out and enjoy live music, food, and fun at Lakeline Park! Bring your lawn chair or share a blanket and relax by the lake while enjoying free live entertainment and conversation.** **Deets from parks and rec:** **There will be food and beverage trucks available starting at 6:30, and the concert starts at 7. There will also be yard games, bubbles and other “kids” activities (that I may or may not also enjoy) and there are some other things as well. Mexican Train is a great game that involves both luck and strategy, but it's easy to learn. We meet monthly, and if you 'd like to have the group meet at your house, I'm sure we'd love to! In the meantime, it's at ours. Bring a sweet or savory snack to share, your favorite beverage AND DOMINOES if you have a set. We chat and chew from 6:30 to 7 and will start playing at 7. In this workshop, we’ll explore the art of linocut printmaking by designing and carving our own custom stamps. We’ll begin by transferring simple designs onto linoleum blocks and learning how to carve them using traditional tools. Once our stamps are complete, we’ll roll on ink and print our designs onto paper, creating a series of unique prints. The Williamson County Art Guild is hosting a paint out for the Art Stroll festival, and they have invited us to participate! Come out and paint anywhere on or around the square in downtown Georgetown from 4-7 p.m. At 7:00, meet up at the Art Guild Gallery located at 708 S. Rock St., Georgetown for an informal showing to see what everyone has created! There will be art shows, vendors, live music, demonstrations and so much more happening in Georgetown during this event. One of our favorite events is the Preservation Austin Historic Homes tour. Some years the houses are clustered in one area and it is possible to walk to them as a group, but this year they are located citywide, so we are just posting this for your information. (**No need to sign up**.) The tour will run from 10-5 on both Saturday and Sunday April 18-19. There will be five homes open to tour on Saturday, and 5 different homes will be open on Sunday. Some of these amazing homes are in the Austin neighborhoods we often walk in. **Purchase tickets online using the link below.
