We've had so much fun at our previous doggy hikes, and our last one was our best turn out yet! Come join us for a relaxed walk/hike at Barton Springs Hill of Life trail. We can hike about 45 minutes in and 45 minutes back. Just a quick heads up: a lot of dogs at this park tend to be off-leash, so expect a mix of leashed and unleashed dogs around. It’s the perfect mix of challenge and reward, with just enough elevation and technical footing to keep things interesting. Expect a moderate hike with some uneven ground, so wear sturdy shoes and come ready for a little adventure. We’ll take our time, pause for views, and soak in the nature along the way. This is just as much about connection and experience as it is about the hike itself. 💚 Trail details (via AllTrails): Emma Long Cliff Loop Trail is a moderately challenging loop known for its beautiful lake views, limestone cliffs, and peaceful wooded sections. Casual open play pickleball for all levels, including beginners. Equipment: You will need to purchase a paddle, or you can rent one from the front desk. We play with “outdoor” balls. Usually our group has some but it’s a good idea to bring them just in case. I highly recommend wearing a good quality court shoe and comfortable athletic wear. Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.
