The session is for mixed ability players (mainly beginners & intermediate players). So please be respectful and kind towards less experienced players - we all have to start somewhere 🧡 🌱 We use YONEX MAVIS 300 Nylon Shuttlecocks. 🏸 We have a few spare rackets if needed. Format: We play doubles for the whole time and keep rotating opponents/partners across courts so everyone plays each other. We're finally back at Sobell Leisure Centre: \- Tuesdays 7pm\-10pm \- Courts 1a\-1d \(courts 1a\-1c after 9\.20pm\) \- Sobell Leisure Centre\, Tollington Rd\, London N7 7NY\. We are a friendly, competitive club for players at high intermediate to advanced / league standard. Not suitable for beginners or lower intermediates. We are always looking for new competitive players. The club has a regular attendance of around 25 players, and will be participating in the Middlesex league in ladies' doubles, men's doubles and mixed doubles in the 2025/26 season. We play doubles or mixed doubles only, with top quality feather shuttles. Please RSVP if you like to attend, or don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. The session is aimed at beginners and intermediate level players who have either never played tennis previously or would like to improve on their game. Join our 2 hours session which will consist of warm up followed by drills focusing on technical skill coaching and will include Forehand / Backhand / Volley and Serve. Finally you get to play each other refining your skills and techniques and ultimately having fun. Rackets can be borrowed please let me know if you need a racket in advance. You need to make a payment 24 hours before the session. If you cannot attend the session please provide 24 hours notice. Should you wish to cancel. This will allow other players on the waiting list the chance to attend the session. If severe weather conditions prevent the session you will have credit for your next session. Fun and experienced doubles badminton! We play over four courts each Tuesday, bring your own kit and racket. £9.00per person for 2hrs; quarterly payments should be discussed with Eli is desired. if less than 24 notice is given for a cancellation then the session fee will have to be paid. we need this so other people on the waiting list can attend. We play with plastic shuttle on most courts; feather available as advance request. Our coach David Kane has been operating Tuesday morning social on a weekly basis will make this a very enjoyable day for you. This session will give Adult players of Improver and Intermediate standards, the chance to meet people for social play. David will be on hand to organise you into doubles matches We are sure that you will experience great value for money. The Old Deer Park tennis courts are in a fantastic location. Only a 5 minute walk from Richmond Station (Underground and National Rail). There is a car park for anybody that is driving to the courts.
