Game on! Let's hit the court for some free pickleball. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just want to learn, all levels are welcome and we've got all the gear you'll need. Just bring some water and your enthusiasm! This is a chance to have some fun and connect with a supportive community. It's an all-recovery event, so we ask that everyone be sober and ready for some good, clean fun. \*\*\*All Recovery Outside events are alcohol free; you must be sober during events
Brewtique - Crafters Drinking Crafts
The Brewtique allows you to grab a beer/cider/water from the coolers to drink inside, and as they don't have a kitchen, you can bring your own food to munch on. There's also a new restaurant at the other end of this shopping center, The Dugout Gametime Grill - https://thedugoutgtg.com/ you can order from and pick up to eat while you're frosting!!
***
Craft with Crafts. Bring the portable CRAFT of your choice and enjoy it alongside CRAFT beer (or whatever) and friendly faces sporting crafty wit\*. We're pretty darn fun. For reals, we craft in a bar, so we are nothing like your mama's stitch & bitch.
Knit, Crochet, Cross stitch, or craft whatever lap work you are into at the moment. The lighting is pretty good. Still, you might want to bring an easy project as a backup as we usually sit in the couches sitting area, not at the tables.
**PLEASE NOTE:** If you are new to a hobby, and would like to use this as an opportunity to learn more or get some 1:1 time with someone who can help you get through a roadblock, etc, please let us know beforehand so we can come prepared either with supplies/tools and the plan to focus with you, or make accommodations as needed!!

In Search of True Friendship (Free Event)
**Why do so many of us feel like we are alone when we have so many more ways of connecting with others than ever before? Are we missing out on forming true friendships by failing to consider the spiritual impulse for those connections?**
**It seems to be our instinct – and need – to be connected to others. But we also seem to have created increasingly fractured and isolating social structures that don’t actually require us to build those connections – much less with anyone who may look or think differently than we do. So how might recognizing our reality as spiritual beings, as all of us being part of one human family, help us understand where this instinct comes from – and what we need to fulfill it? How might it inform the types and qualities of relationships we look for – and who with? And beyond our individual relationships, what would it look like to reconfigure our communities to make finding and building connection easier for all of us? How can we create a culture of community that supports everyone in this search, that allows every individual to thrive not despite but with and because of the larger diversity of people around them? What are the spiritual principles and qualities we need to build and nurture these diverse, inclusive, and connected communities?**
**Come join a different kind of conversation – one that welcomes every perspective in a search for the deeper truths that unite us – as we discuss the spiritual perspective offered by the Bahá’í Teachings on the search for true friendship. Please join us for a lively discussion as we explore how we can build true community together.**
**“Do not be content with showing friendship in words alone, let your heart burn with loving kindness for all who may cross your path.” – Bahá’í Teachings**
**\*\*\* This event is free and open to all regardless of background or belief. Donations will not be accepted.**
**The event is held at the Austin Bahá’í Center**

**The Details**
Sometimes you just need to **lay down, breathe, and let someone else hold the space for you,** but your nervous aboout being alone in a room for an hour with a Woo Woo woman you’ve never met.
You’ll be hanging out in the Mind’s Eye Yoga Room, sitting on cushions, then lying down on a yoga mat for the meditation.
The space is warm and welcoming, and to get to it you’ll walk through our little forest of houseplants, starting you off with a breath of freshly oxygenated air.
I’ll lead a little conversation about Reiki, and then…
You’ll be guided through clearing each of the energy centers in your body while I move around the room giving each participant Reiki about the head and shoulders.
This is one of my favorite ways to solve that for you. A group session, information and experience all wrapped into an hour and a half on a weeknight.
