***\*PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR ATTENDEES DO NOT RSVP ON MEETUP.\**** ***IF THIS WILL BE YOUR FIRST TIME ATTENDING OUR CRITIQUE GROUP, PLEASE CONTACT US AT THECRITIQUERY@GMAIL.COM TO ARRANGE A DATE TO OBSERVE ONE OF OUR UPCOMING MEETINGS.*** Greetings, fellow writer. Do you seek to someday have a short story published in a literary magazine? Do you dream of finally finishing that novel that’s been living in the back of your head for the past few years now? Congratulations, because you’ve found what you’ve been looking for, and it won’t cost you a dime. We’re The Critiquery, an online home for writers who want to have live discussions of submitted work. Instead of a giant, impersonal critique forum, we offer weekly workshops of no more than 15 people where you can ask specific questions and get specific answers. All workshops are held over ZOOM so you can participate from anywhere in the world. We’re open to any narrative prose, fiction or nonfiction. Learn how to receive and give the feedback that is so essential to the success of any author. Whether it’s the first step in your literary journey or the thousandth, take the next one with our trained facilitators and dedicated community of writers. For more information on The Critiquery, please visit our website - thecritiquery.com. We look forward to seeing you!

This is now an online ONLY event! The link will be posted the day of the event. Thank you! Because of the increase in Zoom-bombing \* Only people who are signed up as an attendee for the event will be admitted to the meeting. So, it's helpful if you set your full name as your Zoom name so it aligns with your Meetup name. This way it will make it easier for me to see who you are when you are in the waiting room. \* Once you are added to the meeting, please have your cam turned on. Once you are identified with your cam on, you can feel free to turn it off if makes you feel more comfortable or you want to minimize using up your bandwidth. This way, any Zoom-bomber that does makes into the meeting can easily be identified and banned.

HOW IT WORKS: Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a party of other people via video on Zoom. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of meeting new people, fun social interactions and games. Our friendly host will be with you live via video orchestrating the event and even making introductions among the group so you'll get to know the other people attending. It's so much fun! THIS IS A MULTI MEETUP GROUP EVENT. 10 OTHER GROUPS HAVE ALSO BEEN INVITED SO WE'RE EXPECTING A GREAT TURNOUT! THIS EVENT WILL LIKELY SELL OUT FAST AND WE HAVE LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE SO GRAB YOUR TICKET ASAP. When you login to the event, you'll get to see all of the other participants via video on Zoom. The event host will then pair you off into smaller teams of about 6 people per group and you'll be working as a team against the other groups. You'll be playing fun games like.... * Solving really cool riddles, answering trivia type questions and other fun games that are similar to your favorite party games and TV game shows! WIN AMAZON GIFT CARDS! The winners of the event will get to spin our prize wheel to win prizes which include Amazon gift cards! WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE EVENT: "That was an absolute blast! By the end of the event I had already made some new friends. The games were so clever and fun" - Laura D. "It was the best time I've had in a long time. The host did a fantastic job" - David M. After the event, we'll leave the event open for about 15 minutes so you can exchange contact information with anyone else from the event. This is a great opportunity to make new friends. Typically about 65% of the attendees are singles so it's even a chance to possibly meet that special someone! FAQ: If I have friends or family members that don't live with me, can they be put on a team with me? Yes! We'd say about 75% of participants sign up on their own but if you have any friends or family members that want to join, they can too (simply message the host at the beginning of the event and ask to be placed on the same team as them). Each player needs to buy their own ticket. If you have a family member/s that is same household as you, they are welcome to sit next to you and you can play along with you but each device needs to purchase their own ticket. If I attended a past event with you, can I sign up for this one? Yes, In fact we never use repeat questions and we always change up the games so feel free to sign up with as many of our upcoming events as you'd like! How do I join the event? After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a link with an invitation to join the event. We'll send you that link by the day of the event. If for some reason you don't see an email from us by the event date, make sure to check your spam folder in case it ended up there by accident. What is the age range? All ages (Over 18) are welcome. We usually have a good mix of ages. How many will be participating? We expect between 15 and 30 people. CMG Gives Back: Serve Brunch at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
CMG Gives Back: Serve Brunch at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details: IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve. Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to all of YOU for volunteering at this (and any of our previous) CMG Gives Back events! Should be a good/fun/meaningful time together, Dan

We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun! Also, if you’re looking to meet new practice partners or play some matches and you aren’t already in the PlayYourCourt Community, you can go here to see what we’re all about and sign up: https://www.playyourcourt.com/tennis-community/columbus-oh/meetup/ If you love tennis, we’d love to have you! Be sure and watch the quick video that explains how everything works. Happy hitting! - Scott
