XR Tokyo + Tokyo Game Bridge - Community Link Up

With the Tokyo Game Show recently wrapping up for another year, we’re keeping that energy going! For our next event, we’re teaming up with Tokyo Game Bridge, the excellent community for game development professionals, to host “Community Link: Tokyo Game Bridge + XR Tokyo”, a meetup to celebrate both gaming and XR here in Tokyo.

Join us for an evening of networking and creative exchange at our fantastic venue for this event, The Institut français du Japon. We'll also be hosting a selection of both game and XR demos for people to get hands-on with.

For XR demos, you’ll get a chance to try VR Ring Fit Shooting and see Spatial Glass transform you iPhone in to a spatial display.

VR Ring Shooting - VR shooting game that uses the Ring-Con controller from Nintendo’s Ring Fit Adventure. You can shoot balls by pushing the ring and reload by doing squats. Clear the game while getting a good workout!

Spatial Glass - This prismatic optical overlay might look like just a screen protector but it can transform your iPhone to allow the direct viewing of spatial photos and videos, side by side 3D media, and VR180 in glasses-free 3D. This is one you really should see for yourself!

For this event, there will be an entry fee of ¥1,500 to be paid at the door. We will be providing refreshments for all those in attendance. If you are a student or require some assistance, we will be able to offer a reduced entry fee so please RSVP and send us a message.

東京ゲームショウが今年も無事に幕を閉じましたが、私たちはその熱気をそのまま次のイベントへとつなげます！今回はゲーム開発のプロフェッショナルが集まる素晴らしいコミュニティ Tokyo Game Bridge さんとコラボレーションし、「Community Link: Tokyo Game Bridge + XR Tokyo」 という、ゲームとXRの両方を祝うミートアップを開催します。

今回の会場は素敵な アンスティチュ・フランセ東京（Institut français du Japon）。交流やネットワーキングの時間に加え、参加者の皆さんが実際に体験できるゲームやXRデモも多数ご用意します。

XRデモでは、「VR Ring Fit Shooting」を体験したり、「Spatial Glass」でiPhoneが空間ディスプレイに変わる様子を見ることができます。

VR Ring Fit Shooting – Nintendoの「Ring Fit Adventure」のリングコンを使ったVRシューティングゲームです。リングを押してボールを撃ち、スクワットでリロード！ ゲームをクリアしながら、しっかり運動もできます。

Spatial Glass – 一見ただの画面保護フィルムのように見えるこのプリズム型オーバーレイですが、iPhoneを空間ディスプレイに変身させ、立体写真や動画、サイドバイサイド3Dメディア、VR180コンテンツをメガネなしで立体的に見ることができます。ぜひ実際に体験してみてください！

本イベントでは、入場時に 1,500円 の参加費をいただきます（当日現金払い）。ご参加の皆さまにはドリンクなどのリフレッシュメントをご用意しています。学生の方やサポートが必要な方には割引料金をご案内できますので、RSVP後にメッセージをお送りください。
