Nihon Minka-en is an open-air museum in Kawasaki, Kanagawa where you can enjoy visiting traditional Japanese houses from all across the country that were built 200-300 years ago. Twenty five buildings are on display, mainly typical examples from the eastern Japan, including the Water Mill, Ferryman's Hut, the Storehouse on Stilts, and the Kabuki Stage.

This is a group for anyone keen for walking in a wide range (town/nature walks, hikes, etc) and chatting with new friends. We also welcome parents with kids. Our group holds a variety of walking tours around Tokyo and Kanagawa (over 30 different routes!) to promote new friendships among locals and people from around the world. And we hope this group will help you out from online to offline.

In front of Mukogaoka-Yuen Station South exit.

In case of the rain, we announce cancellation of the event in the morning.

◇◆◇◆ Fee ◇◆◇◆

Fee:

1000 JPY (including admission of the museum) per person.

The fee will be used for buying some common stuff like picnic sheets etc. when applicable, tip for us for planning, searching, arranging, coordinating the event and making a reservation when required.

◇◆◇◆ Available Items & Facilities ◇◆◇◆

Wheelchairs, baby strollers and lockers are available free of change at the front gate.

Accessible toilets and a nursing room are available.
