👋 Hello everyone! Join me for the latest film from Fernando Colomo, now widely regarded as one of the masters of contemporary Spanish comedy.
The plot centers on an aging artist who must create a modern version of Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights to resolve a financial crisis
The film was co-written with his son, Pablo Colomo, the film draws on their real-life father–son relationship, described as a kind of autofiction with superb and complex cinematography by José Luis Alcaine.
We’ll meet at the lovely Cine Lumiere from 4.00 pm, in the foyer by the purple seats. We’re heading to screen 1 (I'll be in row B1, but pick any seat you fancy).
Then we’ll be back at the Cine Lumiere cafe for a laid-back film discussion and Letterboxd review!
