About us
👋 HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON!
London’s biggest film club, built by movie fans, for movie fans. We’re a buzzing community of movie lovers, indie filmmakers, comic geeks, and creators who live and breathe cinema. From cult classics to hidden gems, big-screen blockbusters to indie passion projects, we just love getting lost in movies.
We meet regularly for screenings, grab drinks after, and rave (or rant) together on our Letterboxd Page. You’ll often find us at our BFI Riverfront Socials — always a vibe. We stay on top of film news, and our members help vote on what we watch next via WhatsApp or Telegram (unlocked after your first meetup).
We aim to support independent cinema—whether at the Prince Charles Cinema, vibrant film festivals, or the BFI. That means we often enjoy special perks, early screenings, and exciting festival trips. From film quizzes to chill pub nights, there’s always something happening.
Come hang with a bunch of awesome film fans, and pull up a seat at the Roadhouse, we’d love to have you with us. 🎬

🌿🎬RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL: SERENA (Q&A + W BAR DRINKS)
Vue Cinema, Piccadilly, Lower Regent Street, London, GB🖥️ As we slowly lose our grip on reality, we feed our starving souls into the screen!
👋 Hello guys! We are going to support this movie at the Raindance film festival. It's a screen-life thriller directed by Rob Alicea and written by Jonathan Beneck who are signalling to us a warning. One where we might already be waking.
The premise follows a struggling rock star who agrees to beta-test an AI assistant called Serena. What starts as easy money soon spirals into a chilling psychological battle for control and a nightmare that dismantling him piece by piece.
Meetup: At 5:15 pm we’ll gather at the VUE Piccadilly Bar (Inside the Cinema), and then proceed to Screen 1. On this occasion there will be no assigned seating so we need there a bit earlier so we can sit together. The screening is at 5:45 pm and this will be followed by a Q&A, lead by the cast and crew giving us the chance to hear more about the film.
At around 7:45 pm, we’ll head to the W Bar Leicester Square for drinks and discussion, where we can share perspectives and, of course, post our final thoughts on Letterboxd. You'll find the full schedule, breakdown, ticket information and address below, so don't miss out.
Let’s make it a great evening together with a fun conversation.

💔🎬 THE MISFITS
BFI Riverfront Bar, SE1 8XT, London, GB🎬 Marilyn Monroe’s final film is a poignant and poetic drama, infused with the promise of what could have been had she had more time to explore her skills as a dramatic performer.
👋 Hi guys! The 100th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s birth, and a two-month retrospective at BFI Southbank, is the occasion for the re-release of her most serious and poignant film.
The Misfits was directed by John Houston and written by her then husband Arthur Miller. It was intended as a gift, offering Monroe a more complex, dramatic role. Their marriage imploded during the heated production, but Monroe delivers one of her finest performances.
Appearing to harness the pain of her own life, she imbues Roslyn with a raw vulnerability, showing a passionate, vulnerable, childlike free spirit who finds a complex kind of excitement and freedom.Gable and Clift are superb, but the film would not have soared without Monroe.
The Meetup: We’ll be meeting for pre-drinks at 2:00 PM at the BFI Bar. At 3pm we'll go to NFT Screen 2.
After the film, we’ll reconvene for our usual commentary and Letterboxd review, and will likely continue the night with more drinks around town. You’ll find the full schedule breakdown, tickets, and addresses below.
I'll see you all there

🤠🎬 TOY STORY 5
Leicester Square, Leicester Square , Email us at contact@xxclusive.co.uk, London, GB🧑🚀 From infinity and beyond what exactly.... And to what end?
👋 Hey guys! They are trying so hard to bring nostalgia back, with what seems to be like a new twist, because the new Kids are just glued to tablets now.
This new iteration is directed by longtime Pixar legend Andrew Stanton, who brings the gang into the modern world, to allegedly save their new owner from falling victim to an addictive iPad device. A device that threatens to separate children from their beloved physical toys.
Yep, good luck with that, as you will need to speak to the parents first, and you all know how that goes!
Meetup: This time around we'll meet for drinks and share some creative theories. And at the end well share our thoughts and review the new storyline for our Letterboxd. Final details of this meetup will be updated closer to the time so please come back here.
Who would've guessed that the age of toys would be hitting hard. But not without a fight from us geeks.
Looking forward to seeing then

🦸🏼♀️🎬 SUPERGIRL (BFI-IMAX FILM & SOCIAL)
BFI IMAX, 1 Charlie Chaplin Walk, South Bank, Waterloo, SE1 8XR, London, GB🦸🏻♀️ Step into our world and help us see just how far hope can fly. Because the only way any we can discover true strength is by rising, again and again, into the light even in the darkest of moments… Shine with us, Supergirl
👋 Hey everyone! Is DC worried about Marvel, or is Marvel worried about how hard DC is hitting back? One thing’s for sure: 2026 is shaping up to be the year of superhero rivalry. After the success of James Gunn’s Superman, of course DC was going to swing big again, and now Supergirl is ready to soar.
This one is directed by Craig Gillespie and marks the second film in the brand-new DC-EU. The story follows Kara Zor-El as she celebrates her 21st birthday while travelling across the galaxy, until a tragedy sends her on a relentless quest for revenge. Expect some mythology shake ups and a bold new direction for the character. Looking back, a Supergirl film in the DC-EU has been highly anticipated by fans for years, and it should be great fun experiencing it on IMAX.
On that note we'll meet-and-greet at iMax BFI Cafe-Bar at 5:00 pm where we''ll be discussing our predictions and superhero lore. The movie is at 6:15 pm where you'll find us in row M9 -M10, but you can choose, which ever seats you like.
After the film around 8:25 pm we will reconvene back at the cafe bar foyer area, where we'll begin our social, commentary and Letterboxd Review.
Let’s make the battle of the superheroes one to remember. And if you’re feeling a little fancy-pants, feel free to bring your own goofy superhero T-shirts.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
