Come hike with us at Fontanelle Forest. We will hike about 3 hours a trail considered "moderate" by Alltrails. Riverview boardwalk, Ridge, Chickadee Trail, Hawthorn, Oak Trail, Handsome Hollow, Cottonwood (maybe Missouri) Hawthorn, Hackberry about 5.8 miles, about 715 ft gain. We can modify or shorten it as we go, depending on trail conditions and participants requests. Fontanelle Forest has an entry fee but some of our members have passes and can get guests in for a discount. You can also get free passes from Omaha Public library, Ralston Public library and maybe others. You can coordinate being a guest of other attendees in the WhatsApp group or just start a thread on this event. Please bring water for yourself, even if you don't think you'll need it. Hiking shoes are recommended. My Sunday evenings in July are open again, so let's schedule a karaoke meet-up at Reno's in Blackstone (with their great new Sunday rates https://www.renoskaraoke.com/blackstone ) on Sunday July 5, starting at 6 PM! I have reserved their 'Get Groovy' room which can hold 16. If there are more persons interested, we could also sing in their Wonderland room which holds another 14?
