Beyond Vibe Coding: Building Production-Ready AWS Workflows with AI and Kiro.
Details
James Phipps will continue the topic introduced last week by Andrew Henderson. James will walk through how BeCloud used AWS, Kiro, and system thinking to design a clinical workflow solution that moves documents from an EHR print workflow into a secure cloud-based queue with PDF viewing, role-based access, audit trails, alerts, updates and operational visibility.
The talk will focus less on “AI wrote code” and more on the new development model: using AI to accelerate requirements, architecture, implementation, and iteration while relying on AWS architecture discipline to validate security, workflow design, failure handling, IAM, PHI protection, and operational readiness.
Attendees will see how a real workflow problem was decomposed into a cloud-native system using services such as Amazon S3, Lambda, ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudFront, WAF, KMS, and CloudTrail.
More importantly, they will see how AI-assisted development changes the role of the developer from pure coder to system designer, workflow architect, and production validator.
