The Itinerary

UPDATE 11/11/2023 - Meet same location for a walk to Riverside Arts Market. VegFest isn't happening due to location issues with the city. Lunch after as planned!

Meet at 12:00pm at the corner of Park and Post Streets, catty-corner to Hawkers Restaurant. Jax Veg Fest is held semiannually at Riverside Park.

At 1:00pm we'll regroup at the meeting point and walk over to Homespun Kitchen for a healthy and affordable counter service meal.

About Veg Fest - We are a local grassroots festival devoted to environmental awareness, animal advocacy, and education located in Jacksonville's Riverside Park November 11th, 2023.

About Homespun Kitchen - With locations in Riverside and Atlantic Beach, Homespun Kitchen serves "healthy food fast". 4. Parking - Park in the Riverside neighborhood where permitted. Allow up to 10 minutes to park and walk to the meeting point.
5. I'm running late/Other - Find us at Veg Fest or Homespun Kitchen (after 1:00pm). Use Meetup's event chat or leave a comment on the event page. I will try to check every 15 minutes or so to catch latecomers.

The Notes

• No attendance policy - Please be on time if you want to join the group at 12:00PM.
• Keep RSVP current - So we can eat as a group without too much confusion.
• No Guaranteed Restaurant Seating - Riverside will be busy that day. I cannot guarantee we'll all get seated at once. Let's be flexible in case they can't accommodate us.
• Backup Eats - Aroi Thai (Lomax Street), Hoptinger Bier Garden, Hawkers, or Odessa Slava Cafe (closes at 2pm).
