San Marco & RiversEdge Park Sunset Walk 2026

The Itinerary

Let's meet to explore the new RiversEdge Park in Southbank. We'll walk for about 75-90 minutes - enjoying the 6:15pm sunset - before returning to the Aardwolf Brewery in San Marco by way of Friendship Fountain and San Marco Blvd.

Note that this route differs from our past San Marco events. It's all new for 2026!

This popular event has attracted 20+ members in the past. Afterward, we've typically gathered for dinner at V Pizza or Hurricane Grill and Wings.

Meetup Location - 1461 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207

Parking

1. Park under Route 95 overpass off Hendricks between Naugle St. and Louisa St, just south of Dogtopia. Walk 3 minutes south to Aardwolf.
2. Use the lot behind Aardwolf.

Walk-in Dinner TBD, there will be no advance reservation:

1. European Street Cafe - 1704 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207 - open until 9pm.
2. The Loop Pizza Grill - 2014 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207 - open until 9pm.
3. Hurricane Grill and Wings - 1615 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207 - open until 10pm.
4. V Pizza and Sidecar - 1406 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207 - open until 9pm.
5. Panera - 1440 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207 - open until 9pm.

The Route
*All new for 2026* - We'll walk from Aardwolf towards the Riverwalk, heading east towards the new RiversEdge Park.

Next, we'll explore the new RiversEdge park in detail, including an amazing boardwalk set above a natural landscape.

The last stop will be a loop around Friendship Fountain before returning to the brewery starting point.

The Nickel Tour

Picturesque San Marco is one of Jacksonville's most famous neighborhoods. Its unique buildings - some of which were built in the Mediterranean Revival style - capture both the eye and the imagination. Combined with sweeping views of the St. John's River and convenient access to both downtown and points north and south, San Marco can't be missed.
