The Itinerary

First, we'll walk around the beautiful Jacksonville Arboretum for about 1 hour. The walk will be a leisurely pace with time for photography, conversation, and occasional breaks. Please bring athletic footwear.

Afterwards, interested parties can join us at either Cafe Veneto (bakery and paninis), Cantina Louie (Mexican fare), or we'll regroup at St. John's Town Center (about 12 minutes away).

The Nickel Tour

The Jacksonville Arboretum is home to a stunning collection of flora, some native to Florida and others that have been imported. Carefully curated trails, informative signage, and meticulously kept grounds make this spectacular natural setting an ideal retreat for Jacksonville denizens.

Organized and maintained by Volunteers, the Arboretum is great for a quiet, reflective walk or occasional group yoga gathering on the green.

The Skinny

  1. Location - 1445 Millcoe Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225
  2. Parking - Park in the Arboretum's parking lot.
  3. Bathrooms - Limited outdoor toilets/handicapped accessible.
  4. Shoes - Bring athletic footwear.
  5. Bottled Water & First Aid - Will be available during the walk.

  • Only RSVP if you plan to attend. We'll wait a few minutes for latecomers, but no-message/no-shows WILL NOT be appreciated.
