Grow Together Day!
Details
Grow Together Day – Community Garden Volunteer Event
Join us as we kick off our new Community Garden! We’ll be clearing, trimming, and prepping the space so it’s ready for planting herbs, veggies, and pollinator-friendly plants. No gardening experience needed — just bring your energy (and a water bottle).
What to Expect
- Focus on the garden plot: pulling weeds, rocks, and roots; raking soil smooth; clearing debris; trimming scrub; and planting a few starter plants.
- If time allows, we’ll move to the wheelchair ramp area (weeding, sweeping, repotting, and tidying shady beds) and the front corner beds (pruning and cleanup for curb appeal).
- We’ll start at 9:00 AM with a short welcome, work side-by-side through the morning, and finish around noon. You're welcome for as little or as long as you want.
What to Bring
Work gloves, water, and any hand tools (rakes, hoes, loppers, shovels) you can share. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
