This group is operated by Jacksonville Pagan Pride Alliance, Inc. (est 2011)
This meet up group was created to post public Pagan gatherings, community service projects, meetings, fundraisers, and more in the Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas. Each event will list who is hosting it and will be kept up by that Event Organizer. All events posted here are open to the whole community to attend!
Jacksonville Pagan Pride Alliance, Inc is a 501c3 nonprofit that runs the annual community event Jacksonville Pagan Pride Day! The purpose of the event is to focus on accurate information on Paganism, building community, aiding charity, and supporting activism of Paganism. We hope to help foster pride in those that identify as Pagan as well as help others better understand their Pagan family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and more! A community is only as strong as it's members. We appreciate your voice and support!

We have rented Squirrel Run, at Camp Chowenwaw Park. (This is not our "usual" site within the park. We can drive up to the edge of the cabins, at this site!) We have a total of 42 spaces available. (If you wish to reserve a tent-camping space, elsewhere in the park, you may do so.)
YES, there will be a Maypole!

Yes, we will actually be sleeping at night.
We will be staying in 6-person cabins (3 sets of bunk-beds each) with camp-mattresses. Bring your own bedding. Cabins have electricity and are climate-controlled.
We will have a cookhouse/kitchen, and bath-house. There will be a central fire-circle.
The event will be updated with more details, but I wanted to get it posted ASAP, so folks can get their reservations in early!
(If you choose to rent a tent-site directly from the park, you will not be asked to pay to sign up. You will, however, be contacted to provide proof of your reservation.)
