7 Faces of Darkness: The Passages of Medusa

Details

Step into the heart of darkness and lurch through the passages….only this time, it is not to slay Medusa. No, it will be to commune with Her; to encounter the power of untamed beauty, ancient rage, and transformation. Medusa, the once-beautiful maiden cursed by the gods, now stands as a symbol of defiance, shadow, and deep feminine power…for anyone who dares to embrace the chaos & allure to confront themselves in the eyes of the serpent-headed Goddess.

This ritual may not be for the faint of heart, or those who fear embracing true reality. It is a powerful and immersive confrontation with the shadows within—the suppressed rage, the buried pain & hurt, and the desires that lie coiled beneath the surface. We will proceed through a series of ritual invocations, offering, a dark meditation, and the summoning of Medusa Gorgo.

Medusa embodies the raw, unchecked force of the feminine current - beautiful, terrifying, and misunderstood. She is –

Goddess of Nature & Fertility
Mother of Beasts & Queen of Serpents
Goddess of Extremity
Chthonic Mother of Regeneration & Carnal Influences

Medusa’s darkness can offer you a passage to transformation, where your sorrows and rage can become sources of great wisdom and strength!

For the ritual, you may bring small stones or crystals of assorted colors: white, black, pink, blue, green. They will be charged for you during the ritual.

Ritual will be performed live and broadcast Facebook Live for those unable to join us in person. Please visit Facebook to find the event listing for the online portion.

You are encouraged to follow along with the invocations and other actions; materials will be provided. Coffee hour fellowship will resume immediately following ritual.
