Our ongoing Pathfinder 2e (Remastered) campaign takes place in Tian Xia, within the storied empire of Minkai — a setting deeply rooted in themes of honor, duty, and the long work of rebuilding a nation after the fall of a tyrant.
The Jade Regent is gone. Empress Amatatsu Ameiko sits on the throne, and for ten years she has been quietly, stubbornly dismantling the corruption her predecessor left behind. The empire is healing, but healing is slow — and the rot runs deeper than anyone in the Imperial Palace wants to admit.
The player characters began their careers as agents of the Imperial Survey, traveling Minkai's provinces to restore order, investigate supernatural threats, and serve the empire from the ground up. That work brought them face to face with corrupt officials, monster-plagued towns, and the kind of small injustices that accumulate into something much larger. It also brought them to the attention of the Empress herself.
Now, at 9th level, they have been reassigned. Operating undercover within the Imperial Trade Ministry, they are mapping a network of corruption that reaches from mid-level functionaries all the way to the Trade Minister himself. Their work is part investigation, part infiltration, part diplomacy — and the stakes are national. The characters they've built, the relationships they've formed, and the choices they've made along the way have shaped the story as much as anything the GM has planned.
This is a campaign that rewards players who enjoy political intrigue, moral complexity, and a world that takes honor seriously as a theme — alongside meaningful combat, monster encounters, and the satisfying work of building a case one careful thread at a time.

Tone: Honor-based political intrigue, investigation, and combat in equal measure. Think less dungeon crawl, more carefully dismantling a conspiracy from the inside.
Schedule: Bi-weekly, every other Saturday

A laptop, a licensed copy of Pathbuilder 2e ($5), and availability every other Saturday.

Please get in touch before joining. Because this campaign is well underway, new players will need to review the current arc, work through character creation with the GM, and get up to speed on the world before sitting down at the table. That conversation happens before anything else.
