Thinking About Starting a Local E‑Commerce Meetup in Jax
Just got back from a small conference in NYC with some people I work with — had a great time and came back fired up.
So — why start a meetup?
Helps me find ideas and keep moving ahead. Good to have people to check in with locally.
Full disclosure:
My ideal customers are 8–9 figure women’s apparel brands. If that’s you and you show up, I’ll probably try to sell you on my agency. Everyone else is safe.
About me:
• I run marketing for 2 direct‑to‑consumer brands (my wife partly owns them) + our agency.
• I’m a consumer marketing generalist: Shopify, Facebook Ads, Klaviyo. I’m also the media buyer for a few clothing brands.
Stuff I’m working on (and could use some ideas):
• Content creation + cold email (working, but needs to be better)
• Would love to meet folks who are strong in SEO, Google Ads, content, social media, B2B lead gen, etc.
Format & timing:
• Weekdays only (my kids own my nights & weekends).
• M–F, mornings or lunch (9–1).
• Grab some coffee at a local shop, maybe bring laptops, share ideas.
