Tai Chi Gung Emperor's Choice Sitting Exercises were developed 3300 years ago by Lao Tzu to improve the health, balance, and longevity by restoring the natural flow of chi in the body.
The exercises are especially beneficial for anyone that has balance issues, has trouble standing for more than 30 minutes, or who are nursing an injury, but they are also good exercises for anyone starting to wind down in the yin part of the day (afternoon and evening).
It is excellent for helping people recover their mobility.
Come in and learn to increase both your chi and peace!
Wear comfortable clothes.
Comfortable shoes are optional.
Chairs will be provided.
No yoga mat or equipment is needed.
First Class is always free.
Tai Chi Gung is a practice involving gentle exercises that can be done at any age and any fitness level.
Participants that cannot stand for 45 minutes are encouraged to begin with the sitting class.
